Hosts: When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. We store this to manage your account and pools.

Participants: We collect only the name you enter when joining a pool and the picks you submit. No account, email, or personal data is required.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Service: managing pools, storing picks, calculating scores, and displaying results. We do not sell your data.

3. Cookies

We use a session cookie (__session) to authenticate hosts. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and expires after 5 days.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore). All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

5. Data Retention

Pool data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your pools at any time. When a pool is deleted, all associated entries and picks are removed.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase for authentication and data storage, and Vercel for hosting. These services have their own privacy policies.

7. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@poolreveal.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
